Feb. 8th, 2010 07:26 pmI had to watch some spoken word poetry performances for an assignment, and found this one to be pretty good. I can identify with it, and I enjoy watching the poets conveying their work the way they intended for it to be experienced.

This song is sung in such a beautiful, melodious, a capella. It actually brought tears to my eyes the first time I heard it. The lyrics are pure poetry in my opinion. Listening to this soundtrack puts me in a writing mood every time I listen to it ^_^
Across the Universe Is one of the most amazing movies I have ever seen. It is, probably my favorite musical ever.
Another beautiful song off of this Soundtrack is "Dear Prudence". I just love the way the cast's vocals harmonize together so beautifully.
I included the youtube of "Because" so you could hear just how beautiful it is. Unfortunately I could not find a clip from the movie itself to go along with it.
I did, however, manage to find one for "Dear Prudence"
